One of my goals for 2022 was to become a Notion Certified Consultant. I’ve enjoyed the tool for years and I’ve gotten good at using it, so it made sense for me to try and get onto their roster of experts. And it’s finally happened! I’m now listed as a certified consultant on Notion’s roster through my studio, Gubbins.
What does being ‘certified’ mean?
I’m now a proven expert backed by the team at Notion. It also means that I get Notion’s support through exclusive workspaces and leads on new clients.
There are almost sixty certified experts operating in more than twenty countries across the world. Each one of us has gone through the application process to join this list. When I went through the process in late 2022, I did these three things:
The application. Notion will ask you about your previous consultancy work, and evidence of you advocating for Notion in public.
The exam. I took a multiple choice question exam with a passing score. The questions focused on the features and functions in Notion.
