It’s been a long day at the office, frantic weekend hanging out with friends or just one of those endless afternoons at the park with children. The time finally comes. You grab a cold drink, empty your mind and let yourself be absorbed by the greatest entertainment the human being has enjoyed during the last century. It doesn’t matter if you’re lying on the couch or making room in the pub until your friends arrive, it’s game time, and you know it. Or at least you knew, because this long summer of wait has made many of us forget that feeling already.

Don’t worry, luckily or not, time goes faster than it seems. It has been tough for us at Guesser to survive these last months, where the biggest competition around was who took the best spot on the beach, but here we are, just as excited as you to be able to say: sports season is back.

With the return of most major leagues and tournaments, you will find in the #Sports section of our website a wider set of markets which will cover several leagues every week from now on.

🏈 NFL

Football fans, the wait is over. Week 1 of the NFL’s 100th season arrives this Thursday night with the league’s oldest rivalry, as the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will face off in the Kickoff game. The current Guesser market is offering at the time of writing a Bears win at odds 1.59, while the defeat of the home team amounts to odds 2.47. Quite interesting multipliers to start your NFL weekly wagers.

In addition, markets for Sunday and Monday night games are also available on the site. In the first one, defending champions New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers at Gillette Stadium, where they’ve never beaten Tom Brady’s team. The second one features the New Orleans Saints, which start as clear favorites in their duel against the Houston Texans.

As you can see, get comfortable and start enjoying the beautiful predictions and touchdowns combo every week — this is just the beginning! And, by far, these are also the best odds on the internet.

⚽️ Soccer

Since late August we’ve been able to enjoy the beginning of the big European leagues, especially the English Premier League and spanish La Liga. These two competitions will probably give us at least one great match per week, taking into account the top level teams that take part in them.

In Spain, for example, we’ll have FC Barcelona vs Valencia and Sevilla vs Real Madrid the next couple of weekends, and a highly anticipated Madrid derby by the end of the month. On the island, Chelsea will face Liverpool to take its UEFA Supercup revenge on September 22.

If we add to the mix the beginning of the UEFA Champions League, which will lead to some of the most anticipated duels in Europe, the stage is set for a football season that, as always, will be full of surprises and big moments, so don’t miss the chance to predict them on Guesser.

🏀 Basketball

Out of the field, the orange ball will be another one of the most prominent in our markets, as we already started to see in last season’s Finals.

The NBA regular season will begin on October 22 after a free agency summer that has completely revolutionized the league. LA will be the city where all eyeballs are this year, as the Lakers have finally acquired a top partner for LeBron, Anthony Davis, and the Clippers reinforced their roster with the additions of latest Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard, and All-Star Paul George. Both teams will face each other on the Opening Night, that will also showcase the defending champion Toronto Raptors, who will take on the NewOrleans Pelicans in Zion Williamson’s highly anticipated NBA debut. So mark the date on the calendar and start getting your forecasts ready for this hyped season start.

And if you can’t wait, the FIBA World Cup 2019 is being held this month in China, with Spain, Serbia and the USA as big favorites. Let’s see if our market charts contradict that or not!

🎾 Tennis

We’re living a crazy era in the world of Tennis. In men’s singles, two veterans from Switzerland and Spain and a not-so-young player from Serbia are dominating a game where young talent is more ready than ever to win big titles. In women’s singles, Serena Williams was dethroned from Wimbledon by Simona Halep, but she looks determined to amend that loss in what’s left of 2019.

Currently, the Grand Slam year is coming to an end with the US Open, which will be followed by next year’s Australian Open, and later Roland Garros and Wimbledon. We are witnessing Rafa Nadal and Serena Williams march towards the title in New York! Predictions will be open for the rest of the week, so you better not miss out on the last Grand Slam of the year.

🥊 UFC/Boxing

Both MMA and Boxing are going through incredibly exciting times. Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua’s perfect record was broken by Ruiz earlier this year, which has left everyone eagerly waiting for the huge rematch scheduled for December 7 in Dubai.

In the UFC, we might see superstar Conor McGregor return to the octagon before the end of the year, and before that we’ll have reigning lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov defend his title in a fight happening this weekend on UFC 242, for which we have a highly liquid market.

2019–20 Season is ON!

As you can see, this season is starting to catch fire, and we want to bring that to you in the form of the most attractive markets for you to place your predictions. Whether it’s the next Grand Slam champion, a Champions League clash between two soccer titans or the NBA playoffs, Guesser is the place to put your sports knowledge to work.

When it comes to sports, don’t just watch — be a part of the action!
