WiFi isn’t the be all and end all for offering internet connectivity. While it is very convenient, there will always be situations where a hard-wired connection is better suited. You’re a library looking to offer splash page access on your computers, but want them cabled in? No problem!

If you have a device with ethernet ports, you can still use CT to manage the connection provided! It’s as simple as flicking a switch.

Head into your Cucumber Tony dashboard and set up the network you want these hard-wired clients to have, whether that’s a splash network or not. While still in your network’s settings, head down to your “Advanced Settings” and toggle “Bridge With Switch”.

This will apply this network’s configured settings to all clients connecting via ethernet to your device.
