The Guidewire Design team is a diverse group of product professionals who are united around a shared purpose: creating the best P&C insurance apps in the world. There are several key areas that Guidewire Design contributes to:

Cloud apps. Guidewire Design works on a number of cloud apps that mostly business users rely on to configure Guidewire cloud applications.

Digital consultancies. Guidewire Design supports digital consultancies who design experiences for our customers. If you’ve ever shopped for insurance online, you’ve already seen one of our experience designs.

Design system. Guidewire’s design system and UI framework, Jutro, includes a library of pre-made UI components that are optimized for the property and casualty insurance industry. Designers and developers can leverage these assets, along with standards and supporting documentation, to create consistent user experiences and accelerate development.

User research. Guidewire Design has a dedicated team of UX researchers whose main responsibility is to uncover user problems, needs, and goals. They convert these findings into personas, which we use to better empathize with users.

Information experience. Information experience (IX) practitioners work cross-functionally to craft end-to-end information experiences and understand if they are successful. They include technical writers, UX writers, information architects, and more.
