Do you ever feel like there just aren’t enough hours in a day? Us too, fam. But it might not be Father Time to blame — it might be that we just aren’t utilising the hours we do have in a productive way.

As a freelancer, you are your own boss.

But being your own boss means that you have to motivate yourself to stay on your game and meet your deliverables. But you don’t have to do it alone; here are four time-saving tools to help you maximise your output.

1. Pocket

When you are doing your morning internet browsing, we inevitably see articles we want to delve into. This can, however, distract you from the (many) tasks at hand! Pocket lets you save articles, videos and stories that you want to watch and read and saves them for later. You know, for when you are ‘off the clock’ 😉

2. Priorities

Available for both Android and iOS, Priorities lets you create comprehensive to-do lists to keep you on track and help you reach your goals. According to the app, their method is used by famous investors and business people to manage their lives. And if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for us!

3. RescueTime

You might think that spending the entire day staring at your screen means that you have been working. But you’d be surprised if you saw just how much of it was spent on work-related tasks and how much was spent browsing for a new flat-screen TV. RescueTime gives you the truth, and tips to help you manage your time better.

4. Guild

Guild is a money app for forward-thinking freelancer. So how, exactly, can it save you time? From your dashboard, you can add clients and generate and send professional quotes and invoices from your phone while also getting an overview of your finances and tracking payments. Less time on admin = more time to grind!
