Here at GuildFi, we love football and the World Cup is arguably the biggest sporting event to be held. Every four years the World Cup comes around and draws viewership and interests from around the world, and this year’s World Cup in Qatar is no different.
We have been following the tournament closely, and this year has been a World Cup that has thrown up twists, turns, drama and upsets like we have not seen before. Who could’ve predicted that Saudi Arabia would go on to beat Argentina or that Cameroon would beat Brazil, albeit their second team?!
If you predicted the winners of those matches or any other match correctly, you are well placed to do well in our newest campaign: World Cup Prediction.
This campaign invites football fanatics in our GuildFi community to predict the winners of the World Cup matches, starting from the Quarter-finals all the way to the Finals. GuildFiers join in by predicting the results of each match and stand a chance to win prizes worth up to $3,300!

Quest 2: Predict the World Cup 2022 Champion
Duration: 8 December 2022 4 AM (UTC) until 9 December 2022 14:59 (UTC)
1. Quote tweet this Tweet from GuildFi’s account with three (3) hashtags:
- The team you think will be the World Cup 2022 Champions, e.g. #Argentina, #Portugal, #France
- #GuildFi, and
- #WorldCup2022.
2. Input your retweet link on GuildFi’s Quests page.
3. Go to GuildFi Marketplace to claim your ticket in order to be eligible for this Quest’s rewards.
4. If you correctly predict the World Cup 2022 Champions, you will be eligible for the World Cup Champion Prize.
Note: If you do not complete the required steps of Quest 2 before the Quest Duration has ended, you will not be eligible to receive the rewards associated with this quest.
Quest 3: Correctly Predict As Many Games As Possible
Duration: Now until 21 December 2022 16:59 (UTC)
Predict the winner of each of the 8 matches from the Quarter-finals till the Finals, and stand a chance to win rewards.
1. Predict the winner of each match. You will be able to submit your prediction for each match up till 1 hour before the start of each match.
2. You will be able to obtain your prediction ticket(s) from the GuildFi Marketplace where:
- Each ticket is valued at 20 GXP;
- A maximum of 5 tickets per match for the Quarter-finals can be redeemed;
- A maximum of 10 tickets per match for the Semi-finals and Finals can be redeemed;
- Each ticket will be counted as one (1) entry.
- Multiple entries can be redeemed per match, but you will only be able to pick one winning team per match.
3. If you predict correctly and win, you will be awarded GXP as a reward.
4. The amount of GXP awarded will be determined by the GuildFi team and will be announced at a later date. If you predict incorrectly or the losing team, no rewards or GXP will be awarded for this quest.
World Cup Prediction Campaign Rewards
There will be various rewards up for grabs during the World Cup Prediction campaign. The rewards and eligibility criteria are as follows:
1. World Cup Champion Prize: 10 participants who correctly guessed the World Cup 2022 Champions will be randomly chosen to receive the EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 game, worth $30. The prizes will be distributed in stablecoin.
Those who guessed correctly but did not win the EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23 game will receive 50 GXP instead.
Winners will be announced by 23 December 2022, 13:00 (UTC).
2. Top Winning Picks Prize: The total prize pool for this Quest is 3,000 USDT and will be divided into 3 equivalent prize pools of 1,000 USDT based on the amount of correct predictions. This will give the maximum opportunity for as many community members to win as possible.
- 3 match-wins Prize Pool : Participants that predict at least 3 match outcomes correctly will qualify for Pool 3. 1,000 USDT will be shared equally amongst every participant in Pool 3.
- 5 match-wins Prize Pool: Participants that predict at least 5 match outcomes correctly will qualify for Pool 5. 1,000 USDT will be shared equally amongst every participant in Pool 5.
- 7 match-wins Prize Pool: Participants that predict at least 7 match outcomes correctly will qualify for Pool 7. 1,000 USDT will be shared equally amongst every participant in Pool 7.
Participants will be able to enter multiple Pools, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
