GuildFi unveils its Marketplace, Project: Morroc
Imagine a world where there is a platform that allows gamers around the world to exchange their in-game assets with each other and get tons of benefits from playing the game they enjoy.
GuildFi envisions the marketplace, termed Project: Morroc, to be a place where gamers around the globe come together and exchange their hard-earned collectibles with each other. You will be able to buy, sell and exchange in-game items, NFTs, whitelists and more.
We want Project: Morroc to be a platform that elevates the gaming industry as a whole to the next level. It will serve as a cornerstone in the GuildFi ecosystem.
Introduction to Project: Morroc, GuildFi’s Marketplace
GuildFi is excited to announce our latest feature on GuildFi.com which we’ve termed Marketplace or Project: Morroc. Project: Morroc will act as GuildFi.com’s marketplace where it will be a distribution point for all the items available on GuildFi.com, as an example, but not limited to, NFTs, gaming tickets and whitelists. GuildFi’s Marketplace will be exclusively available for community members of the GuildFi platform.
Marketplace will act as a tool for community members to be able to access our partner game’s attributes, important products and in-game items without limitations. We understand that migrating from Web2 to Web3, both for players and projects alike is not easy. Therefore, we envision that the introduction of Marketplace will be one of the many tools on the GuildFi platform that will help towards this positive change.
Importantly, Marketplace will provide an opportunity for GuildFi users to have access and play exciting games for free. Free access can be won immediately for games such as Axie Infinity, Pegaxy, WonderHero, CyBall and GuildFi will continue to add more thrilling games onto the Marketplace.

Item Sales
Community members on the GuildFi platform will have access to the latest available products in the marketplace. Through our Marketplace, members will be able to browse through the latest NFTs, Gaming Tickets, Whitelists, Gaming Gears, as well as other exclusive or non-exclusive collectibles. In v1, Marketplace will be launched with two key categories which are Player Ticket and NFT sales. The NFT sales category in v1 will represent the alpha version which will randomly select the available NFTs on Marketplace for sale to users.
For v1 of Marketplace, 100% of profit earned from playing our games will go directly to the user. This means users can use their GXP that they have accumulated to temporary own the GameFi assets without splitting any profits with GuildFi at all. For example, you can use GXP to temporary own your Axie from GuildFi, play the Axie Infinity game and keep all your profits to yourself!
Currency for Marketplace
We have been highlighting throughout our announcements and encouraging our members to keep stacking GXP as well as the importance of holding $GF. Now is the time to cash in. We continue to maintain that GXP and the $GF token will hold plenty of importance in the GuildFi ecosystem and this is no different in our newest feature, Project: Morroc. Both $GF and GXP tokens will be extremely important in the Project: Morroc in order to access, claim or purchase collectibles and partnered-products.
Hybrid Marketplace
Project: Morroc will be the first hybrid gamification marketplace in the world in which gamers can trade both web2 and web3 in-game items.
We don’t want the Marketplace to serve as a platform only for web3 users. Providing the smoothest experience in on-boarding users from both web2 and web3 is GuildFi’s ultimate goal.
Whether you acquire a rare item from your favorite MMORPG or you attain epic NFTs from GameFi that you enjoy, you will be able to sell or exchange them on Marketplace.
GuildFi is fully committed to make Project: Morroc the marketplace for all gamers. For this reason, GuildFi’s Marketplace will eventually support every game that players around the globe are already enjoying such as Minecraft, Roblox and more!
GuildFi Partner
Marketplace v1 has been launched with 5 of our gaming partners, namely Axie Infinity, Pegaxy, Wonder Hero, Thetan Arena and Cyball.
Along with having massive benefits for our community members, GuildFi’s Marketplace will be beneficial for the relationship between our members and our game partners as well. GuildFi’s Marketplace will create a sort of communication and access portal for members and partners alike. Through the products being listed from the gaming partner, community members can browse to see what interests them the most and interact with those products as they see fit.
We feel that GuildFi’s Marketplace will allow us to become a Co-Building Partner to our partners which will allow us to assist our partners in building their games and promoting their exclusive products and collectibles directly to GuildFi’s community members as well.
Beta Access
In the first phase, we will only grant beta access to our partners to list their items in the marketplace. This will allow us to test, collect feedback, and make improvements, if required. Following this, GuildFi will open Marketplace to every user to be able to list their collectibles on Marketplace both on-chain and off-chain with gamification enabled.
The beta launch will come with basic off-chain functionality. This will allow us to obtain feedback from beta users before we shift Project: Morroc to the next phase.
GuildFi’s Marketplace will not only support web3 assets but will also focus on web2 in-game assets as well such as gift cards, coupons, in-game collectibles and much more!
GuildFi prioritizes our user’s experience as the number one priority which is why the launch of Marketplace has been carefully thought out and intricately developed during every step.
As we mentioned, GuildFi members will get exclusive privilege to use the marketplace.
Future Updates
GuildFi’s Marketplace tool will continue to be updated. The updates and enhancements will occur through on-boarding new products and collectibles from our partners as well as increasing the categories available as well. New and exciting games will also be added to GuildFi’s Marketplace. Due to this, Marketplace will continue to become increasingly valuable for GuildFi members as they will have access to a massive pool of resources for the games they love.
Again, we do recommend all our community members to participate in the GXP quests and giveaways as GXP will play a very important role in GuildFi’s Marketplace and the GuildFi ecosystem overall.
