GuildFi Partners with CyBall

GuildFi has taken the first step in realizing the potential of our Web3 platform by partnering with CyBall, a football-themed NFT-based game with a Play-to-Earn model.

“Guildfi was created to connect multiple value-adding features aimed at maximizing rewards across the Metaverse and we are thrilled to elevate the experience and rewards for CyBall players,’’ Jarindr Thitadilaka, GuildFi’s Project Lead.

GuildFi will serve as a platform for CyBall players to access guilds’ scholarships and gaming tools. CyBall players can simply create Guildfi IDs, link with the CyBall game, and start earning additional rewards. Their in-game experience will be accumulated as points and compounded along with other games in the Metaverse.

About CyBall

CyBall allows gamers to collect, trade, and mentor CyBlocs, fantasy characters represented as collectible and tradable NFTs, and ultimately battling them with other players. CyBall combines different elements of gaming, such as strategy, simulation, and chance to form an attractive and exciting football card game, where players essentially try to score the most goals.

CyBlocs are essentially Cyborgs on the Blockchain. Gamers spend their time in-game to train up their CyBlocs in order to compete in various game modes, namely in Exhibition, League, Tournament and Training modes, with varying levels of rewards. Existing CyBlocs can also mentor young CyBlocs, creating the next generation of unique NFTs.

CyBlocs have three key attributes that act as its backbone and key to a player’s experience in-game.

• Classes come in five different forms for a CyBloc — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Legendary — each with varying levels of overall skill rating and rarity.
• Traits are inherent characteristics that CyBlocs are born with. A CyBloc Traits are not connected to its Class, therefore having a higher Class does not mean a CyBloc would have better Traits. A CyBloc can have up to three traits that also vary in rarity: common, rare, super rare. These traits are important as they can affect a variety of in-game features such as gameplay mechanics to potential rewards. CyBlocs are more likely to naturally gain or inherit common traits from their mentor, however, the chances of gaining rare and super rare traits from a mentor are much less likely. As such, CyBlocs with better Traits (both quality and quantity), which could increase their in-game superiority, would naturally become more valuable.
• Skills are randomly generated for a CyBloc when they are born or minted based on its Class. Skills generated for CyBlocs start at a base rating, which is Level 1. There are a total of six footballing skills that a CyBloc can have which are Tackling, Passing, Dribbling, Crossing, Shooting, and Physical. CyBlocs receive one free skill point at every level from Level 1 to Level 100.

Finally, the victor of each match is determined by the CyBall match engine. The CyBall match engine uses a series of Key Events, which may be Solo or Tandem Events, each consists of CyBlocs competing against each other in one or two of their six footballing skills results in a goal for either side or a draw. This process is repeated for each key event throughout the match to decide the ultimate winner (or a draw depending on the scoreboard). The 3v3 game modes contain 6 Key Events, while 5v5 game modes contain 10 Key Events to determine the final winner.

Initially, CyBall will launch on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), with plans to launch on Solana as soon as the game is ready to create a dual-chain gaming environment. CyBall’s token model consists of two tokens, each with their own importance and utility in the CyBall ecosystem. The CyBloc Battery Token ($CBT) is the game’s primary Play to Earn reward and utility token whereas the CyBall Token ($CYB) is CyBall’s governance, utility and special Play-To-Earn reward token.
