Community Event Week 3 — Beginners Free2Enter Tournament

GUStakes is proud to announce that our friends and sponsors from Shapeshift DAO have offered us the chance to host our Week 3 GUStakes Summer Series event for their community. We have designed this event and article to help increase participation in the tournament and to welcome all beginners to play Gods Unchained.

The following rules and guide are here to assist everyone to join up and play for VICTORY!

Rules of the Tournament

We are restricting the cards that are being used to only what comes when you install the game and we will be providing 6 different decks players MUST choose from. Each round is best of 3 and players MUST choose a different God (deck) each time they win a match.

We hope this will level the playing field for everyone to have a chance at competing.

• Tournament Start & Kick Off: Saturday June 18th 12:00 EST / 17:00 UTC in the Shapeshift Discord

Round Schedule:

Players must play against their opponent following this schedule:

• Round 1 ends (512) : June 19 12:00 EST /17:00 UTC
• Round 2 ends (Top 256): June 20 12:00 EST /17:00 UTC
• Round 3 ends (Top 128): June 21 12:00 EST /17:00 UTC
• Round 4 ends (Top 64): June 22 12:00 EST /17:00 UTC
• Round 5 ends (Top 32) June 23 12:00 EST /17:00 UTC
• Round 6 ends (Top 16) June 24 12:00 EST /17:00 UTC
• Round 7 ends (Top 8) June 25 12:00 EST /17:00 UTC

Semifinals + Finals(Best of 5): June 26th Streamed Live (Time TBD)

NO show or NO signs of communication with your opponent by end of Round 1 is an automatic disqualification

Beginner Quick Start Guide

1. Register to Gods Unchained and Install the game client
2. Link your Metamask wallet to the game
3. Sign up for GUStakes at gustakes.gg
4. Sign up for the GUStakes Summer Series Week 3 Tournament
5. Wait for tournament start, announcements will be made in Discord
6. Find your opponent in Discord, their IDs are in the “Matches” tab
7. Select your deck, paste the game code in the “Direct Challenge” mode and get ready to duel.

Viewing Opponent Info, Starting Match, and Copying Match Code

All players must contact their opponent in the GUStakes Discord or the ShapeShift DAO Discord .
