Guyanese-born artist, Carl F. Anderson stood proudly to be photographed by Spencer Richards, in front of his 25-piece collection of contemporary paintings, now on display at the Port Authority building in Times Square, New York City, until Oct. 31, 2017.

The Brooklyn resident, who was born in the capital city of Georgetown, where he discovered his talent for painting, before showcasing his talents in Venezuela for thirteen years, said his exhibition are samples of his major “Ribbon Series,” and other recent works of art.

“My work expresses on a two-dimensional surface images that portray a complex universe, blending color, light, and life, into a unifying theme of cosmic.”

The world-renowned artist who produces accomplished, hyperrealist portraits, as well as complex abstract art, is one of Guyana’s preeminent creators who exhibited his works at Guyana’s National Gallery of Art.
