Guyana’s Timehri Film Festival, on its third year journey, is seeking to promote local cinematography and screenings of Caribbean films.

The festival, which opened on May 29 at Moray’s House, features local and Caribbean films. Founder Romona Lucas said, “It’s a platform for Guyanese filmmakers to showcase their work and it allows us to bring films that are being made by other Caribbean film producers to Guyana so that you can see their films.”
