“I saw this pic (above second to the right) and realised how big and unhealthy I had become. I had always kinda trained on and off before the birth of my son. But when he was 3 years old, I realised something drastic had to be done.

I began to train with Dave, one of the Co-Founders of Gym Plan who pushed me harder than I had been pushed before. He mixed-up my training to include more power circuits and barbell work. Dave pushed my weights to be heavier and challenged me to push myself physically every session. I began to see changes in my body both aesthetically and my strength had increased leaps and bounds.

As I began to enjoy challenging myself beyond what I thought was possible, the more I enjoyed the training, and most importantly the less I focussed on weight. But to my surprise, more weight kept falling off. Even greater than that I began to enjoy feeling stronger, faster, and fitter than ever before.

I’m now a firm believer in the Gym Plan training philosophy. My attitude towards my body changed. I used to hate it, especially my legs. Now I love it! I now see what a strong healthy body can do. I love my strong thick thighs and being part of a community that applauds it! I’ve become a myth-busting advocate of the people who believe that, “lifting weights makes you bulky!” No Ladies, it doesn’t. Quite the opposite actually.

Gym Plan workouts are tough but really really enjoyable. And they work! I always feel challenged but exhilarated! The feeling of accomplishment after finishing the workouts drives me to see what else I can achieve!

I now find myself qualified as a personal trainer. I run gym classes and help other people on their journey who were just like me.”

Jill is one of the many people who have changed their life completely with a rejuvenated look on gym workouts and body image. Your health should be one of the most important focuses in your life.
