Meet Benjamin

Benjamin (or Benji) learned the ropes of strategic marketing on the agency side, serving as a global advisor to major brands including LVMH, Nike, Unilever, L’Oréal, Coca-Cola, Calvin Klein and more. In 2018, Benjamin moved client-side and joined Shiseido, the world’s third largest beauty group, to lead the global digital transformation and data-driven marketing efforts of NARS Cosmetics.

A consummate strategist with a decade of experience, Benjamin has spent his career helping companies define their vision, tell their stories and develop brand continuity over time while incrementally building upon innovative concepts. His background gives him a unique view on shaping consumer engagement for global brands: Raised in Asia and Africa, Benjamin cut his teeth in the business in Europe before moving to New York City, where he has held domestic and international roles spanning multiple marketing disciplines in over fifteen countries.

Throughout his career, Benjamin has led the creation, integration and expansion of digital marketing capabilities, helping over twenty brands to stand out while cutting on costs. In the process, he developed a keen sense of navigating highly matrixed organizations on a global scale, building and managing cross-disciplinary teams and budgets up to $20M.

Benjamin’s sense of innovation and profitable impact on brands has been recognized by numerous accolades including L2 Digital IQ, Effies, WARC Media Awards, Adweek Plan of The Year, Retail Leader’s Best Practice Awards, Digiday’s Glossy Awards, BizBash Innovators, The Drum Marketing Awards, SABRE North Amerca Awards, and Shanghai Advertising Association Awards.

Right before joining NARS in 2018, Benjamin received a VentureFuel Visionary award while his team in Asia bagged Campaign’s Agency of The Year.

A self-proclaimed “geek,” Benjamin has a knack for discovering the technologies that are transforming culture and commerce, from artificial intelligence and mixed reality, to connected-everything. He regularly shares his insights to industry panels and media outlets.

When he’s not home researching new trends or playing with his dog, he travels the world with his spouse looking for new ideas and influences.
