Like most people, I too love drinking a hot cup of tea. And there is a reason, good one why I like drinking it. There is so much evidence and information available about tea and its benefits due to the numerous scientific studies conducted on it. Flavonoids are essential components found in all types of tea; they are an example of naturally occurring compounds that act as antioxidants (Higdon, J. V., & Frei, B., 2003), which works as defense line against free radical damages might hit the human cell.

Additional Health Benefits of Tea

In addition, these flavonoids have been researched to show numerous possible health-promoting effects, such as a reduction in the risk factors for heart disease (Zamora-Ros et al., 2015). But, how to enjoy the tea and make it part of your daily routine if it is bitter taste and not easy for you to enjoy or even drink. Tannins are responsible for the characteristic bitter taste of teas and cause this astringency sensation when taken orally.
