Assembly & Replacement Component Manufacturing Continues
Eight-hundred HoloPorts are now assembled, tested, and packaged — but supplier delays are still holding back completion of the next assembly run and shipping to the distribution centers.
The first batch of HoloPorts were assembled successfully but then we noticed on the next batch some of the copper coating paint from the inside of the Holo-green backplate was flecked or smudged on the outside which was aesthetically unacceptable. We have been working with the suppliers to get replacements.
HoloPort and HoloPort+
- Assembly is happening in batches as we receive new backplates from the suppliers.
- The remaining 400+ HoloPorts will be assembled when all those backplates are received.
- The HoloPort+ assembly batch of 600+ will immediately follow the HoloPorts.
USB Drive & Warranty Stickers
- Check out the close-up below of the custom laser-etched USB drives included with every HoloPort and HoloPort+ that will be used for key management and storage.
- Also, the final tamper-proof warranty stickers have been printed and are included on every HoloPort.
