Project Updates
psdnFIL is coming soon!
H2O announced the coming launch of its new liquid staking derivative, psdnFIL. psdnFIL will allow normal DeFi users to participate in the Filecoin ecosystem without investing to be a Storage Provider. This is another opportunity for DeFi and DataFi users to engage in a significant DataFi ecosystem, aside from Ocean Protocol through psdnOCEAN.
More details are coming soon! The H2O team is currently working on the liquid staking derivative and plans to release the product post-FEVM.

H2O launches psdnFIL beta.
Following the announcement of some details about psdnFIL, H2O released psdnFIL beta. On the dApp, users can go to the “Convert” tab and choose to Convert Filecoin. An entry code is needed for users to do some actions in the beta version.

H2O was featured on the FVM Early Builders list during #ETHDenver.
H2O is proud to appear on the list of FVM Early Builders during #ETHDenver, together with other projects like Legacy, Filecoin Green, Starboard, and Huddle 01. FVM Early Builders is a program initiated by the Filecoin Foundation that provides support and resources to early-stage projects and teams building on the Filecoin network. The program is designed to accelerate the development of promising projects and bring new use cases to the Filecoin ecosystem.
H2O’s liquid staking dashboard has been updated.
New changes on H2O’s liquid staking dashboards have been implemented. The updates include a staking page where users can see all the available liquidity pools, Analytics, and News pages for the protocol’s stats, announcements, and updates and other pages to access Auctions, Bridge, and Safes.
DataFi Alliance kickoff
DataFi Alliance, a newly formed organization of DataFi projects and communities, just announced its kickoff. The team organized a Twitter Space to celebrate its commencement. More activities are expected to follow to support and promote the web3 data economy.
DF Main is coming soon!
In DF 27, up to 100K $OCEAN are up for grabs. Publishers now receive a 2x effective stake, and rewards are distributed based on ranking. 50% of the budget goes to passive rewards, while 50% goes to active rewards. DF Main will start in Round 29 and beyond.
Ocean’s New Data Challenge
Ocean Protocol launched another interesting data challenge. This time, the topic is Liquidity Provisions Strategies. Participants can collect and clean data from various DEXs, analyze the trading volume, price volatility, liquidity depth, and other key metrics to support their analysis, and conclude which liquidity provision strategies work best.

Filecoin’s 2-week hackathon
Aside from #ETHDenver, Filecoin is onto something exciting as it announced a 2-week hackathon with ETH Global.
