GIFT OF WATER COMPETITION
The Gift of Water Competition has received a lot more deserving entries this past week and we wanted to share two more with you today.
There is still an open invitation to any individual or corporate company that wishes to nominate a community in which our unit can be placed and form part of a larger initiative. We look forward to receiving more responses for this initiative. Click here to nominate your community.
AMA
Our CEO, Julius Steyn will be hosting another AMA session soon. We will keep you updated on the time and date as soon as we have finalized it.
- Gulu district/ region, Northern Uganda
Gulu district/ region in northern Uganda is semi-arid and for the past three consecutive years it has suffered from intense droughts. This has left many water sources dry and compromised the quality of water for those that remain. Women and children walk long distances looking for water. By winning the water treatment plant, they will be able to provide a source of clean and safe water for drinking, this reducing illness and enabling children to return to school.
- Imogo igbudu ikwo
This week, we received an entry from Imogo Igbudu Ikwo in Nigeria. This community currently has no access to clean water and relies on a pond for their water supply, which has a serious negative impact on their health. Winning the water plant would substantially change their lives.
STAKING POOL UPDATE
Our total staking pools have continued to grow and there are now 5,6M tokens staked mark.
Our long term staked tokens (1 Year & 2 Year Pools) continue to have APR rates above 63%, with the 2 Year Pool APR still sitting on 79% to be our most popular pools. The staked H2ON continues to represent more than 55% of total H2ON tokens in free circulation.
