Week 8 Customer Discovery
Goals
The past week, we identified missing links for deploying Intellisense, but were not able to fill them in. We also received more confirmation of product-mission fit at the USCG Golden Gate station.
This week, we aim to interview the deputy sector commander, intel, and other personnel of the LA-LB sector to gain buy-in on bringing Intellisense to the sector. Specifically, we are hoping for an “aha” reaction, “how can you help us”, identifying specific USCG requirements this could fulfill, and understanding how Intellisense would impact Northrop Grumman and the intel division.
Hypothesis
Hypothesis 1: We can identify the specific requirements linked to one of the Coast Guard’s statutory missions that enables buy-in for our digital visualization tool of past historic interdiction data.
Test
To have a better shot at getting to specific requirements, we anticipate the need for buy-in from the deputy sector commander and intel. To achieve this, we are mocking up an interactive HTML page with playback and basic filtering enabled like shown above.
