We are in the fast era: people don’t seem to have time anymore. They get fast food for lunch. Listen to podcast to skip reading. Buy groceries online. We are so used to shop online that walking to a store feels outdated.
But what about clothes? Some really love buying clothes online, but others avoid it any cost. They don’t even think about it. They don’t know their size. They want to see how if fits on them, feel different textures. At Habits we were frustrated. We were tired to order items in different sizes, to try offline and buy online just to find the perfect fit. We had to find a solution to make this better. For all the shoppers that are tired to deal with returns, for all the e-commerces that want optimise costs, for all the brands that struggle to understand the perfect fit. We are here to make this better.
The main dilemma brands and retailers face today is how to make it easier for online fashion customers to understand what looks good on them. Tackling this problem is top priority for just about everyone selling fashion items online, not only to solve the intrinsic problem with buying apparel online — not being able to try items — but also to simultaneously boost conversion rates and minimize returns. At Habits, we believe AR is the solution to the issues that are preventing the fashion e-commerce industry from growing even further.
Born with customers’ in mind, Habits’ mission is to give back to shoppers what they deserve: the right to try before they buy. We are creating an accessible, low-entry barrier e-commerce platform with competitive product listing costs, optimized thanks to the opportunity of uploading products in the form of 3D models. Through our App and Smart Mirror, we leverage augmented reality to innovate online shopping by offering customers a unique and unprecedented virtual try-on experience.
Our innovative fashion store is split into two areas:
- Fashion Accessories, available on the iOS and Android App;
- Fashion Apparel & Accessories, available on the Habits Mirror;
For our shoppers
For the first time ever, users have the opportunity to try on every accessory available in the store in real time directly from their own smartphones, harnessing the latest technology available. They can share pictures on social networks, filter and search for other products or add items to the cart, all of this while staying in AR Mode and enjoying a seamless, unbroken experience flow. Because it allows users to explore thousands of different accessories and try them on in real time anywhere they are, the Habits App virtually replaces the physical store, reducing the need for brands to invest in retail. In fact, the Habits App is natively developed to be the most scalable and technologically advanced fashion store.
The Habits Mirror is our innovative Smart Mirror specially designed for the Habits fashion store that allows users to try on in real time and shop for every kind of fashion product, from accessories to apparel. The Habits Mirror uses top tier hardware and is built upon our own proprietary software. This way, we are able obtain the best results for size & fit advising.
For our Brands
Brands interact with the Habits Admin Panel, where they can upload new products or request a 3d model digitalization, manage existing products, launch ad campaign and edit content.
Leveraging blockchain, brands will have total control over their marketing expenses: each time an advertised product is digitally tried on, our smart contract activates. This way, if a brand actually spends a token, it means that someone, somewhere, actually tried on the product — and this will stay forever written in the public blockchain.
At Habits we are proud to:
— Cost less than acquiring a customer on traditional social channels simply because an ad display on Habits always corresponds to a virtual try on, which provide a superior experience boosting conversion rates.
— Cost less than acquiring a retail customer (single or multi-brand) while guaranteeing almost the same visibility and customer experience. In case a brand should need to reach a given number of customers in a specific geographical area, Habits is an extremely advantageous alternative to physical retail investment.
