Both of my parents were teachers for a long time. As a lifelong learner, I developed a passion for technology and innovation from the desire “to understand the soul of things”. How do things work the way they do? Most importantly, why? As a scholar in the constant pursuit of knowledge, understanding and wisdom, I cherish every new opportunity to learn. Hack.Diversity is another opportunity to expand my learning network and increase my knowledge.

Prior to Hack.Diversity, I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a Masters in International Business from Tufts University and a dual MBA/ Master of Science in Digital Innovation from Bentley University.

Innovation is the ability to create new value or to capture value in a new way. This ability translates to endless opportunities for growth, unique process improvement and a win-win for customers and businesses. Creating and capturing new value is both rewarding and challenging — factors that are important for my learning and professional development.

The innovation industry is particularly exciting to me because of the constant evolution of products and services. As an innovator, I enjoy the agility of idea life cycles and the speed of product inception-to-completion.

Navigating the tech and innovation industry is like a maze with multiple routes. Hack.Diversity will provide an important piece to this puzzle by expanding my professional network and enabling to think outside the box in an ever-changing tech landscape.
