Mouse in the House

This is the test-tube version of our Mouse in the House invention. The way it works is that a laser is directed into a light sensor, and when the light is broken it automatically sends you a text message saying that something passed through the light.

The project uses an Arduino with a wifi shield so that the trip-wire does not need to be connected to a computer. We are using a service called Temboo that delivers a message from the Arduino to your phone when something passes in front of the light.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
