We were attending at the first Web3 Summit in Berlin (22.10. — 24.10.).
Web3 is a gathering for developers, researchers and cryptoanarchists to collaborate on a more free, more functional, and more user friendly Web3.
The Web3 Foundation nurtures and stewards technologies and applications in the fields of decentralized web software protocols, particularly those which utilize modern cryptographic methods to safeguard decentralization, to the benefit and for the stability of the Web3 ecosystem.
We met a big portion of Berlin’s blockchain community and some of the greatest minds in the blockchain space — Vlad Zamfir, Gavin Wood, Arthur Breitman, Juan Benet, Harry Halpin and others.
It was really a nice gathering. There were lots of workshops and discussions about the web3.0.
Some of the discussions and talks were about the broken model of the old web as we know it and the way we can solve it by using blockchain. Also the governance of the web3.0 was one of the topics that brought lots of attention and thoughts.
There was also a dedicated hackerspace where Milen Radkov took part. There we the so called “Nodes” for talks and discussions over security, blockchain architecture, workshops, VR experiences and AI related projects.
It was really nice and refreshing, meeting all these inspiring people.
