Mi Tierra — Monopoly
Is your game design different than the type of games you enjoy playing? How?
Not really, but I try to suit a broader audience with them than just me.
Do you like to work alone or as a team?
I design alone but I publish with a team.
What does your playtest process look like?
First alpha tests with people I know, then beta tests at conventions etc.
What do you feel is your biggest challenge as a game designer?
To make a game that is truly unique and works and is fun.
What do you wish someone had told you about game design?
Most publishers don’t really care about your game, they just want to make money.
Do you have any advice you’d like to share with budding designers?
Team up and help each other out at designers days.
