It’s been a long journey, but on Monday, July 11 at noon, we’ll open the doors of Hacker Studios to the public. We moved into 252 Dundas Street late in 2015, and our member space has been up and running since then, but the public part of our startup community hub has only been available for private events.

Monday’s “Dry Launch” will be followed by a “Wet Launch” once we’ve got our liquor license. We’ll have a big party then — for now, we’re just quietly opening our doors and hoping everything goes okay. We hope you’ll join us for the afternoon or stop in sometime this summer!

The Dry Launch
Monday, July 11 @ Noon
252 Dundas Street, London (right across from Central Library)

Summer Hours
Monday to Friday
10AM — 4PM

The Space
Hacker Studios is a community space. Come in and hang out for a day. Get some work done. Have a meeting. Ask about local support for business. Read a book. We’re not a coffee shop where you can hang out. We’re a community space where you can get coffee.

After hours, we’ll still host events for the startup community, and now we’ll add retail and restaurant pop-ups to the mix. (So please get in touch if you’re looking for a space to make something awesome happen.)

The $5 Bottomless Coffee
Yup, you can drink all the coffee you want for $5 a day. You can even leave and come back for more. You can’t share it with anyone, though. That’d just be too much coffee.

The Food Menu
Think of us like the grown-up version of your high school cafeteria. We won’t have the same food available every day, but our aim is to always have a good lunch ready for you.

Sometimes, we’ll have a guest chef who’s trying out a new concept or making an old favourite. Other times, it’ll be the Hacker Studios team offering something healthy and delicious. Let us know what you’d like, and it just might end up on the menu for a day!

And we’ll keep some staples on hand like fresh fruit, energy boosting snacks, and yummy baked goods.

Stay tuned
We’ll be announcing more developments over the summer, and rumour has it the Hacker Kids have some things in store, too!

See you on Monday!
