Life is a journey, and each day is like a step forward. On a journey we get various challenging checkpoints, so as in our life time.

But often we experience monotony in our life and want to change our daily practices. The sad truth is most people don’t even realize that they are mere slaves of their daily routines, bosses, wives (:P), Materialistic desires etc.

This chapter is to get you out of that routine and make you realize that the time to change something is TODAY.

You know better about what you should change in your boring time of the day or whole boring day :/. Apart from monotony, change also keeps you intact with the people and the growing society.

You learn new things and keep up the pace with the culture. Like old people who didn’t change with evolution of mobile technology, now struggle using mobiles, laptops.

In India, we say those who don’t change or accept changes get obsolete sooner. Like

Trees that don’t bend with the wind, won’t last the storm

Action Items :

  1. If possible, take a day off from your daily routine like going to office, college etc within next week(whichever day is suitable), and try to go out and experience the day in a different way.
  2. Start a hobby you have been thinking for long, like learn to play guitar? Go and order one on Amazon right now, otherwise you won’t be serious about it. Like to cook, tell your mom you will serve the dinner tonight and cook one of your best recipes.
  3. Take a different route to office today ( no matter you get bit late, you can start off early) and notice the area around the road/street. Notice the people around.

Sounds stupid? No problem, just give it a try and experience the essence of this chapter.

Tell your husband/wife/friend to get ready for dinner at his/her favorite restaurant tonight.

Moral of the story is break the daily thing and get into making each moment a special in its own.
