13 Tools to Manage Angel Investing
Most angel investors aren’t full-time in their efforts. They have intense day jobs, are active operators, and have to figure out when and how to navigate this cluttered and noisy world. This describes me as an angel investor quite well.
Venture capitalists have the benefit of investing in startups for a living, with management fees, aka salaries, teams and other resources, that enable focus to make their bets with robust information and due diligence. Sure, their check sizes are bigger, but it’s not typically their own money and money is certainly relative to the personal bank account.
I was recently asked how I manage my angel investing in the flow of my busy life. With my day job at Dyn in full force growth mode, and a young, growing family prioritizing my time, I’ve found a set of tools to help me streamline this side effort. I love the work and it drives my portfolio approach to business, that highlights how I view my long game career plans.
