In 2023 let’s have women run the world

At the end of 2022 we are all faced with an important question: what is the one biggest lever for us to build a better world?

We can talk about AI, blockchain and other things. But one incredibly powerful and practical lever that will transform everything is if we actively transform the world into one that is governed primarily by women rather than almost entirely by men.

My credentials: I am an unrepentant ego-driven man. I think wokeness is a mind virus, I am disgusted by diversity pie charts, I laugh at words like “mansplaining,” I exhibit (and will continue to exhibit) traditional masculine values, and my desired family structure is a polygyny with me at the center.

All of that supposed toxic masculinity (lol) has not stopped me from realizing a very simple truth: women are just fundamentally better than men at governing large-scale human society because women are less trapped in their imagination and have a clearer view of reality.

The easiest way to understand why is this: women are much less likely to send sons who they had to painfully give birth to and grow over decades — to die over stupid memes that actually do not exist — e.g. national borders, an obviously made up imaginary line of bullshit.

Seriously, ask any woman you speak with: is it worth risking even a 5% chance of nuclear war over what color of dishrag flies over Crimea?

The reason why we men start puffing our chests and talking about the importance of the international rules-based order (obvious imaginary nonsense propaganda designed to keep the US dollar on top), while women quietly facepalm inside, is that the way men and women think is remarkably different. Of particular interest is that women live much more in the here-and-now rather than in mental constructs the way men do. We men have to spend many years meditating and having various ecstatic experiences to even get close.

Now you might say that women already can vote and all that. Indeed much of the history of civilization is of the emancipation of women, and is a major contributor to important ideas like human rights. Yet all powerful political and business organizations are still primarily built by men, and embody the male spirit — e.g. let’s make up rigid laws and regulations to get people to do what we want inside institutions we already have. A laughable conceit which misunderstands the complex-systems nature of reality.

Now. What does that leave the men to do?

Men have one huge, huge advantage over women that is absolutely crucial for the healthy running of society: our huge awesome fucking ego.

The ego is a source of incredible energy and motivation. It is what makes us explore, seek new ideas, seek wealth and power. So that we can impress more women and have more children. It is the male ego that has brought us out of the caves and will carry us to the stars. Especially if we let women dismantle and reinvent the many immoral systems that men have built: the regulatory nationalist states, the militaries, the prisons.

OK, so what can we do in practice?

Just bring more women into positions of power — especially inside the nation-state, the regulators, and other organizations that have to be dissolved from within and rebuilt from scratch.

My biggest lever in 2023 is to build movements and organizations that are run by women at least 50%, probably more.

The culture of such institutions will automatically be much more constructive and offer much more realistic solutions to our problems. And my male ego tells me having women run things is a significant competitive advantage.
