tldr: The $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill includes provisions on “Information Reporting for Brokers and Digital Assets” in Sec. 80603 of HR 3684. Two amendments to this section were voted on at 12 noon EST Sunday, August 8th, 2021. The Senate adopted one of these amendments

The Senate Voted Sunday, August 8th, 2021 to adopt the Sinema-Portman Amendment (№2137) Amendment to Sec. 80603 on Digital Assets in Infrastructure Bill HR 3684.

In an effort to help others make sense of the crypto provisions in Infrastructure Bill HR 3684, I have made a document that I hope will be useful to others in understanding what is taking place in the Senate. Please include any feedback you may have or updated information in the comments.
