Theme: Trip planner

On 12th 2019 July, Alexa workshop was conducted by Amazon in Kgisl Institute Of Technology. This have been an absolutely amazing workshop.

In the morning session an introduction about Alexa was given and we are allowed to work on Alexa’s skill set.

In afternoon session an event was handled and every student was asked to come up with their ideas. We had an opportunity to present our idea on trip planner. we are 2 in a team, one acted as a user and the other acted as Alexa , our idea is about seeking help from Alexa to plan a trip.

Questions we planned to set in Alexa about trip planner

• If the trip is planned to other countries, we might use flights, so user asked Alexa about Visa for stay
• Does the place the user selected have any direct flights from their hometown?
• And skill set also helps user to provide the Specs about the place the user selected
• It also provides information about motels after the users reaches the place
• Our skill set reminds about the date and time about the trip in advance .

It is quite interesting to work with Alexa and our skill helps user to track the distance of their trip,it helps to book tickets and further information what the user wants about their trip.
