A behavior your sons are probably doing right now has been consistently linked to anxiety
It’s called sedentary life, that means computer, TV, maybe smartphone.
But also too many hours of study.
It’s no surprise, now we have some academic research.
Low energy activities may lead from anxiety to disturbed sleep, poor metabolic health or social withdrawal.
The next step? Depression
So while teens use their smartphone even when they walk in the park, there are too many low energy activities.
Should they stop studying and using their PCs?
Balance is the usual key!
And convert sedentary activities into high level energy activities.
How?
Don’t mistake the tools with the goal: the goal is to learn the school lesson, staying sat down many hours is just the tool to achieve the goal.
Are there any other tools to achieve the same goal? ;-)
