There was a man named Drishya.

Drishya would always travel through the same route to his work, same scenery, same buildings, same road.

While traveling he would always pass by a junction where the road had a small pit on the side, Not that he always had to go through the bumpy part, but he would always crib about the road condition.

When he would reach that junction, he would always look at the pit and murmur to himself — ‘’This road is not good, I don’t know why the govt. would not mend it for the betterment of people and society’’.

Besides that same pit there was a small patch where some flowers were planted, an unknown man would always come and water the plants so that they would bloom and present a refreshing view to the passerby’s.

Among all the flowers was a plant which was really rare and beautiful. It would bear flowers throughout the year and was exceptional to the area and region, not many people knew that it was rare and almost no one would admire the beauty of it.

Then one day some news person got to know about the ever blooming rare flower, and wrote a story about the same with some pictures of the spot.

The picture clearly captured the pit and the patch where the flowers were planted. Now when people saw this news article almost no one paid heed to the pit in the picture, everyone was mesmerized by the beauty of this rare flower.

Drishya also read the article and instantly recognized the junction from the pit.

He thought to himself that it has been a million times he has been through that junction and road but never did he ever realize that there was beauty just besides the pit he always was cursing about.

It made him realize something, and the realization changed his life forever. The same is also applicable to everyone of us as well.

He realized that it was not the pit or the condition of the road that made him curse or feel bad, it was him who chose to look at the pit and neglect the beauty, Similarly it is not the people around us or the conditions outside which make us feel sad and miserable, it is the state of our mind which makes the ultimate difference.

If we choose to look at the beauty and not the pitfalls in our lives, our lives will feel worth living.
If we can choose to see the positivity in others actions and deeds, we would feel loved always.
If we choose to accept others as they are and appreciate them in our lives, we will have the most amazing bond with people around us.

Lets choose the beauty and not the Pits.
Lets choose generosity above rudeness.
Lets choose Happiness over Sadness.
