An Adafruit Feather M0-Based Oscilloscope

At one time oscilloscopes were limited to dedicated scientists and engineers, but as input devices and processing power have continued to drop in price, they’re well within a hobbyist’s reach. As this video shows, one can even be built using a $20 Adafruit Feather M0 board, along with a 3.5" touchscreen.

Maker Bryon Miller constructed his oscilloscope’s enclosure using what appears to be a modified baby wipes container. This actually works out quite nicely, as it gives his setup a hinged lid to cover the LCD when not in use, and a wiring compartment that can be opened separately.

Added to the exterior is a connector for the scope, as well as a programming port on another side of the gadget. For more background on the project, check out this post on Adafruit, or take a look at its code and documentation over on GitHub.
