Fake profiles, identity theft, plagiarism — all can be seen as a form of flattery. In most cases, accidental. While these crime are thought to be harmless by the perpetrator, they often cause harm and serious repercussions to the victims.

Recently, the CTO at Hada DBank was contacted by a concerned person, about a “crypto” start up, hijacking his (CTO) profile, renaming him, and claiming that their company is developing a platform for the First Digital Bank to fuse Islamic Banking Module with Blockchain Technology. Obviously, upon a quick search, he later found out that not only the said “company” took his picture, but some others from the Hada DBank’s team as well.

left from www.hada-dbank.com; right from kingtoken.co (they have taken these down — I managed to save an offline copy of their website)

Going through the website is like swallowing poison. The further down the site, the more painful it gets. Not only they’ve used our photos and renaming us (poor Shaz — he was named after a small town in Malaysia: Kubang Pasu lol), King Token also plagiarized our work. Those long nights the team spent writing our white paper, coming up with creative designs, and crushing our brain to provide solutions and ideas to the crypto community, are all down the drain. All because someone thought it would be okay to steal from others. What baffles me is this: people are still supporting them, because they claim they are trying to get listed on Mercatox. The community failed to do their research.

When juan mahussin informed the team of this absurdity, we decided to confront Kingtoken through their telegram group. That move is obviously useless as we were immediately banned (LMAO!).

We are doing our best to spread this news, to protect the community. Kingtoken is blatantly scamming the community of their hard earn money (I really do hope it is not true) as the more scammers out there, the harder it is for legit businesses and crypto community to breath.

Attached below are some of the picture evidences.
