From my open window there is a cornucopia of bird sounds.
The noisy little jenny wrens warble away. There is also a catbird or a mocking bird. In the distance I hear the hammering of the pileated woodpecker. The robins’ melodic songs carry on the breeze. As I listen, I hear the chirr chirr of the red breasted woodpecker. Although I don’t like them, I have to admit some of the common grackles sounds are quite melodic.

To hear various bird sounds go here: Cornell Birds

I apologize if the post contains errors. Fell asleep while writing several times; once when finished and my hand lay on the delete key. Aahhhha!
