Day 268 — Humor- Haibun Journey View From My Window

Traveling again today so I watch out the car window for something new and interesting. On the side of the road a white tail doe has been hit and killed. What draws my attention is that someone has come along and tied a metallic helium balloon to it’s back legs. Not sure if this is to represent a roadside marker for a memorial or if someone wanted to be able to see it late at night if they returned to put a side of venison in their freezer.
