Creative mindfulness through haiku verse…read on grasshopper

Whether you’re a haiku master or, embracing the light verse and mindfulness of the haiku poem for the first time, everyone’s welcome at Haiku Hub!

Simply request to be added as a new writer by emailing haikutography@gmail.com and placing “Add me” in the subject line along with a link to your medium profile.

— Then, submit a haiku in draft with any of the Haiku This! prompts as your theme. Please send us one haiku for each prompt as we’d like to have a varied collection of single haikus for each prompt.

— Please ensure your form is accurate and composed of 3 lines containing 5–7–5 syllables, respectively.

— Please include an image with your haiku along with the source credit, or your editors will add an image for you.

— Check your haiku form for line and syllable format- (Here’s a link to the basics for beginners: Haiku found on Wikipedia.) Then, submit it in draft!

If you’re new to Medium and contributing your work to publications this tutorial link will walk you through the process quite painlessly.

Now, go forth and Haiku On!

Haiku This!

Note: If you don’t see your haiku published to the homepage right away be patient. We don’t have a fixed schedule for publishing. Also, the editors may ask you to make some edits to your piece before publishing, and of course, we reserve the right to pass on any submission which doesn’t meet submission criteria.
