Happy October! In classic haiku form — 3 lines, 17 moras — take your best shot at creeping us out (No hockey masks please!)

Cackling witches, chain saws and machetes, ethereal corpses, evil clowns, haunted houses, petrified mummies…What is it about being scared that gets so many people excited? Why do we run to, instead of away?! Tell us in three lines (or sets of three lines, each in classic haiku form) your vision of “creepy” and what it conjures up for you. But wait, there are demonic twists:

  1. It must reference a famous movie or song (they needn’t be creepy for you to add a creepy angle), and
  2. If possible, add a related audio or video link.

Just make sure you submit before midnight on October 31st, or who knows what you’ll turn into! And as always, please follow our submission guidelines.
