When the land itself
could not be seen, that’s when I
saw humanity

For the selfless rescuers and helpers — you remind me of what it is to be human, to lend a hand when disaster strikes, to give of that most precious gift — time.

This is inspired by S Lynn Knight’s prompt

And also by my memories of when Chennai was flooded two years ago…how help poured in from all parts of the country…how the citizens banded together and helped each other…just like how the volunteers in Texas are fighting the aftermath of Harvey. Humanity is alive and thriving isn’t it?
