Misty turned lethal
angry psychopath in pink
night-cloaked obsession
There are many fright movies out there — most of which I refuse to watch and the few I did, like The Shining, The Exorcist, and Play Misty for Me, have remained in the never-visit part of my brain. And, here I am visiting — thanks a lot, Sherry Kappel 😉
As scary as The Shining and The Exorcist are, Play Misty for Me is the movie that truly terrifies me. Perhaps, because the story was believable — an ordinary person and a psychopath — everyday life, right?
As terrifying as it is, Play Misty for Me introduced me to one of my favorite love songs, First Time Ever I Saw Your Face performed by Roberta Flack. It took years for me to disassociate the song from the movie and here I am reconnecting them — thanks a lot, Sherry Kappel 😉
