snowflakes are a gift
you can cradle, but don’t try
holding fire, it burns!
I’ve been checking the Haiku This! page for a new prompt every hour, in vain. And then, my mind connected the last four prompts — Snowflake, Fire, Gift, and Cradle — into something only a mother can love. Well, I hope that’s not true. ;)
On a related note, thank you S Lynn Knight and Sherry Kappel! Your prompts gave me the chills, set my mind on fire, and turned out to be gifts that I can cradle forever! Written for HaikuHub. 👏
