Review on the alpha release of the Prediction Platform — HAKKA Intelligence
What is Hakka Intelligence?
Hakka Intelligence is a price prediction platform. Given a set of crypto assets, participants can predict the position change of each asset after a period of time, with the stake: $HAKKA, to win the prize.

The alpha version of Hakka Intelligence has been launched in January 2021.
Participants were asked to predict the price change of 5 assets (BTC / ETH / LTC / BCH / LINK) from 1/9/2021, 00:00(UTC) to 2/8/2021, 00:00.
Participants Review
Here we take a recap on this soft opening. Because the contract was still under audit, we have set a 10,000 $HAKKA per each address cap. There were 30 unique addresses that successfully submitted their predictions with a total of 256,306.62 $HAKKA staked. We have set up an additional 100,000 $HAKKA reward to reward early participants.
While the period ended by Feb 8th, all participants should have manually calculated their score within 14 days to qualify for reward claiming. Unfortunately, 2 people failed to calculate within the specified time frame and will be disqualified.
As a result, 356,306.62 $HAKKA was distributed to 28 addresses. Most people had a 40~60% net gain if their price prediction was not too inaccurate.

Predictions Allocation
While we take a look into prediction data, some interesting phenomena may be observed. The red dots in the below chart represent the correct answer of each coin’s percentage of change during the period; grey points are participants’ predictions.
We discover that most of the predictions are concentrated around 20%, which assumes that some people may send a prediction of (20/20/20/20/20). Some people successfully captured the high rise of LINK, however, no one predicted LTC and BCH drop.
Scoreboard
Subsequently, let’s check out these participants’ scoreboards. As we can see, all scores are within the range of 0.95~1. The result of cosine similarity may get passivated due to the increment of dimension. The reward for the most precise player is not significantly different than the worst one.
Official Hakka Intelligence will Soon be Launched on BSC
After a long wait, Hakka Intelligence has been well-polished. The production version of Hakka Intelligence will be officially released very shortly.
The grand opening of Hakka Intelligence will be introduced on Binance Smart Chain as a result of better accessibility and gas efficiency. We will make some adjustments concerning the lessons we’ve learned from the alpha version.

Shorter Period
Price usually fluctuates rapidly in cryptocurrency markets. Therefore, we will provide players with options for different lengths of periods.
Simplified Portfolio
As having many coins enrolled in a single prediction result in less participation confidence, we are introducing the (token A / USD) or (Coin A / Coin B) like pair to lower the entry barrier.
Better Scoring Method
As we have observed that scores are concentrated in a certain range, we have come up with a variety of solutions to fix this issue. Potential approaches include setting a threshold, mapping raw scores to amplify differences, etc.
