Originally built around the Aave protocol through the Polygon network, Yearn Finance users can now enjoy the fixed APY that the iGain IRS provides through the Fantom network.

USDT, DAI, and USDC have always been our stablecoin term of choice since we started iGain on Aave. It should be no surprise to adopt the same stablecoin terms upon expanding to other protocols, so, we initially made USDT available at the integration of Yearn on our platform on May 11.

And as of yesterday, we have just deployed another 2 terms on Yearn: DAI and ETH.

This is the first time we have adopted a volatile cryptocurrency instead of a stable one on our site. ETH, being the second biggest coin in terms of market cap in the crypto world, has already proven itself to be one of the “bluechips” and trustworthy coins in the industry.

With the new ETH term, ETH holders can now have a fixed deposit rate when lending their coin on iGain through Yearn. This can be a good alternative for the staking mechanism of the Ethereum network when the “Merge” finally happens.
