How To Stay Active With a Busy Schedule
Work very often gets in the way of staying healthy irrespective of you being a full time employee, an employer, a student, or a stay at home mom.
Finding those 30 mins in a day might be the hardest task ever!!
Let me introduce you to some ways that allow you to be active while still keeping up with your busy day.
1. Workout while watching TV
Working out while watching TV is the ideal solution for those who don’t want to miss the news, or their favorite TV show.
Instead of sitting, hit the floor and start doing some sets!
2. Take a walk outside
I’m assuming you are familiar with the unsupportable traffic in Riyadh. So why not ditch the car every once in awhile?
3. You can work out with your kids!
You can use your children’s weight as an equipment…isn't that a fun idea!
Besides being healthy, it’s entertaining for you and the kids. You get to have quality time with them while staying fit.

4. Take the stairs!
Climbing stairs burns more calories per minute than jogging.
It requires about 9 times more energy expenditure than sitting and you would burn 7 more calories than taking the lift.
Sounds like a workout to me!
5. Short random workouts
Here’s a really cool plan, I tried it myself and realized body changes without much effort.
While waiting for the tea water to boil, do some workout sets.
The time will pass faster, and we all hate the wait right?
Do crunches while waiting, trust me those little random moves during the day can make a difference.
6. Make a Schedule and Commit to It
If you are self-motivated and think you can be committed to a real workout, it would be awesome!
Set a realistic plan, you don’t have to work out everyday.
7. Hire a private trainer
Private trainers are like a double edged sword, you definitely benefit from them, and are a great source of motivation.
One things for sure, they are pricey! But, that’s exactly why hiring a trainer is the perfect idea.
Pay for the sessions in advance. Skipping will make your money go to waste, you will learn to commit.
8. Night match
Plan a game with the guys, who would say no to a late football match?
It’s always fun to take part in group activity, especially with your friends.
However this might be a bit hard in Riyadh. Reserving a place, or even looking for the right place is a nightmare.
