Not the best week for female creatives. No films directed by a woman opening this week.

Here are the films opening this week that have a woman in a major decision-making creative role in the project (producer, director, writer, editor). I have listed the women in these roles on the film.

If you know of others films opening this weekend that fit the criteria that I missed, please share them with #halfthescreen.

Humor Me (Producer: Jamie Gordon, Courtney Potts)

Saturday Church (Producer: Adi Ezroni, Mandy Tagger, Rebecca Miller | Cinematographer: Hillary Spera)

The Post (Producer: Kristie Macosko Krieger, Amy Pascal | Writer: Liz Hannah | Editor: Sarah Broshar)

NOT Half the Screen:
Acts of Violence
Paddington 2
Proud Mary
The Commuter
