Welcome to part 2 in the series of the Top 3 Facebook Audit Results….

So far we covered the first pain point which was copy writing, which brings us to pain point number 2….

PAIN POINT 2 – ENGAGEMENT / LACK OF MARKET RESEARCH AVAILABLE

RECOMMENDATION – ENCOURAGE YOUR FANS TO ASK MORE QUESTIONS FOR YOU TO ANSWER

SOLUTION

Getting your fans to answer questions not only increases your brands organic reach, it will also open further opportunities for you. Such as market research.

Finding out what it is that your customers are having a problem with, and asking them if you can help find a solution. Remember you don’t want to SELL them a solution just yet, you’re simply providing value and care…

Give them some sort of solution such as an article, video or even audio content. You could research and create unique content yourself to address these problems, or you can harvest the information from other sources, such as post sharing, this builds trust by showing them that you want to help them instead of just take their money….

People appreciate free gifts, and the opportunity to learn something new. It will show that you and your company is listening to their problems and wants to genuinely help….

You could try the following methods:

  • Create a Facebook Group

You could also create a Facebook group and only allow your customers to be a part of it. Get them talking in this group so you can gain further insights into their problems. This way you can treat Facebook as an online café….

  • Respond to trolls

Many businesses see trolls as people damaging brands, however it’s quite the opposite. Your followers will love you and engage with you if you can create witty comebacks to these trouble makers. Take for example stand up comedians, when they engage with the hecklers in the crowd, they receive a roaring applause

By going straight for the delete button you’re opening yourself up for more trolls and customers asking you…

“Hey why did you delete that comment?”

You could gain a valuable insight into the strength of your brand by trolls. If you have a fiercely loyal fan base they may even start defending you! Now how does that transition to ROI?

They are obviously repeat customers….

Food for thought….

See you on the field,
