K-pop and P-pop talents unite for Filipino fans in POPStival 2022
K-pop and P-pop fans, are you ready?
MANILA, Philippines — Neuwave Events & Productions brings together some of the biggest names in the K-pop and P-pop scene for the highly anticipated POPSTIVAL: K-POP MEETS P-POP 2022 on Friday, October 21, at the SMDC Festival Grounds.
Park Bom, Hyolyn, Brave Girls, VIVIZ, LOONA, and Be’o will be joining the stage — straight from Korea! On top of that, rising P-pop acts like BINI, ALAMAT, CALIXTA, G22, KAIA, VXON, Press Hit Play, Lady Pipay, and Felip of SB19 would be there to showcase their world-class Filipino talent as well.
POPstival 2022 marks the long-awaited debut of some of the aforementioned K-pop acts in the Philippine spotlight. For instance, LOONA is set to meet their local ORBITs for the first time, still fresh from their recent world tour stops. Brave Girls would also get the chance to finally get the Filipino crowd rollin’ rollin’ rollin’ in their first local appearance. This would be Rapper Be’O’s debut performance in the country too.
Meanwhile, some artists are bound to reunite with Filipino fans under a different persona. Former GFRIEND members Umji, Eunha, and SinB would also be making an introduction to NAVs as a power trio under the name VIVIZ. 2NE1 singer Park Bom is also gearing up to show us why she’s still the best, this time as a solo artist.
Neuwave promises a whole day of fun for its attendees. The concert grounds — dubbed as “POPLand” — would be filled with all sorts of attractions and activities. To begin, POPstival would begin with a motorcade at 8 a.m. Fans are already free to roam around the area and participate in various games to win special prizes once the gates open at 10 a.m. A fireworks display is also planned to conclude the evening on a high note.
