Tutorial: How to check your POSVote Tokens (PVT) in MetaMask and TokenPocket wallet

Many users have recently started staking HO in the POS Node Final but are wondering how to check their POSVote (PVT) token in their wallets.

The following tutorial will teach you how to view your PVT tokens after pledging HO in MetaMask and TokenPocket wallet via custom token function.

View your PVT tokens in MetaMask

Step 1: Open your MetaMask wallet and make sure you are connected to HALO Mainnet (HALO Chain). Click the Import tokens option.

Step 2: Add the PVT token contract address 0x954c663e5766dd39c66D73860EC845d8EaEF6729 and then click the Add Custom Token button to continue.

Step 3: You will see your PVT tokens balance. Click the Import Tokens button to complete the process.

Note: Same steps apply if you are using the mobile app version of MetaMask.

View your PVT tokens in TokenPocket wallet

Step 1: Open your TokenPocket wallet and connect to HALO Mainnet (HALO Chain). Click the [ + ] sign to add assets.

Step 2: Click the Custom token option.

Step 3: Click the Add token option.

Step 4: Add the PVT token contract address 0x954c663e5766dd39c66D73860EC845d8EaEF6729 and then click the Confirm button to continue.

Step 5: Return to the Assets tab to view your PVT tokens balance.

Summary

  • To obtain the POSVote (PVT) tokens, user needs to initially pledge at least 100 HO in the POS Node Final at https://www.halo.land/#/pos. The minimum HO amount for the subsequent pledge is at least 10 HO. See the following tutorial on how to pledge in the POS Node Final.
  • The total number of HO tokens pledged will be the total number of PVT tokens you will obtain.
  • You can view your PVT tokens in MetaMask or TokenPocket by adding the contract address 0x954c663e5766dd39c66D73860EC845d8EaEF6729 via custom token function.
  • PVT tokens are not transferrable.
  • If PVT tokens will be transferrable, the pledge HO tokens will not be redeemable.
