The Valora app is making this vision a reality, with their easy to use Celo wallet for mobile. GoodGhosting is a natural fit for Valora, as we similarly want to make our DeFi social savings games available to all mobile users. That’s why now enabled everyone to use Valora to join, deposit and withdraw from any savings pool that is running on the Celo network. 🎉
To celebrate, we are launching a pool where you earn extra rewards exclusively when joining via the Valora wallet!
New to GoodGhosting?
Our savings pools reward dedicated savers. Win by depositing cUSD into the pool on a regular basis (e.g. every three days). Make all deposits before the deadline to get a slice of the interest and extra rewards from the pool. Miss a deposit and you sacrifice these benefits to surviving savers.
Luckily, this is a no-loss game, so you always get your initial deposit back at the end. We also raffle out great prizes like sponsored NFTs to the successful savers. Join us in our mission to end boring savings.

🌊 How do I win?
- Go to our websites pools page — or join via the Valora app (Dapps section)
- You will need to save every three days in the cUSD stablecoin, on Celo.
- Each deposit you will need to save $5 cUSD, for four deposits in a row.
A total of 20 cUSD is required to win the game. - The pool launches on Tuesday March 22nd at 11 am EST (3 pm UTC).
- Be one of the first 2000 participants. Don’t wait too long to make your first deposit! As soon as there are 2000 people in the pool, it will be closed.
- The first deposit has to be made before March 25th (11 am EST). The second deposit before March 28, the third before March 31 and the final deposit before April 3rd.
- After the final deposit deadline, there is a three day waiting period before players can claim their winnings on April 6th without any limit.
- The pooled funds are automatically deposited into Moola, where they earn interest in $cUSD.
- All successful savers using the Valora Wallet App will earn additional CELO rewards for completing all four necessary deposits, as well as an additional GG score boost of 100.
There is a required condition though. See below.
This savings pool will be providing winners an additional reward of 1 $CELO (ca. $2.75 worth at the time of writing) for players who submit proof of using a Valora wallet. To prevent abuse, we will provide a Typeform where players can submit a required screenshot to be eligible for these extra rewards.
How do I get Valora?

What about my GG score?
Already have a wallet with a GoodGhosting score and track record? Not to fear. We will allow you to forward the winning GG score from a newly made Valora wallet to your established GG score wallet to help encourage more users to try Valora. We promote exploration!
Note: each new Valora address will only be able to forward their earned GG score once to another account. You will not be able to both forward and earn with the same account. Nor will existing accounts be able to forward their score to Valora wallet addresses. So no ‘double dipping’!
