HaloFi Leaderboards — How They Work
With our rebrand from GoodGhosting to HaloFi we’ve introduced two new leaderboards!🥳
- Most Recent — from the 5 most recently ended challenges
- Governance V2 — from our recent Celo Governance round
We still have our all time leaderboard, so you can measure up to how to stack HaloFi OGs.
Let’s start with the basics, what is the HaloFi leaderboard and what does it track?
On HaloFi you’ll earn GG score for every savings challenge you complete. The more GG score you collect the higher you’ll climb in our leaderboards🪜
We have three types of leaderboard.
- Most Recent
The ‘most recent’ leaderboard calculates your score based off of the last 5 HaloFi challenges. This is not the last 5 challenges you have completed but the 5 challenges that have most recently ended on HaloFi. This new leaderboard will keep things nice and competitive, making it easier to climb the ranks for newcomers and keeps the OG’s on their toes!
2. Custom leaderboard — Governance V2
This leaderboard tracks your score throughout events that we host on HaloFi. Think of them as seasons. This leaderboard you can see in the screenshot above, ‘Governance v2’ is the GG score calculated from the savings challenges in the Celo governance v2 event (4 savings challenges). As we add more events to HaloFi, you’ll see more leaderboards here.
3. All time
For the OG’s and the ultra competitive we have the all time leaderboard, get to the top here and you’ve earned some real bragging rights! Just as it says, this leaderboard tracks the all time GG score from every challenge (or savings pool back from GoodGhosting days) a user has ever completed.
Where can I see the leaderboard
Head on over to the leaderboard tab. Make sure your wallet is connected, and you can toggle between the three leaderboard types. See our handy GIF below for a visual.
Earned a top spot on the leaderboard? Congrats! Show off your GG score on Twitter by sharing directly from the leaderboard. Just click the blue twitter icon next to your score.
How is GG score calculated?
In short, the longer a savings challenge is and the more you deposit the more GG score you will earn. But to keep it fair and competitive we have altered it slightly so those who deposit large amounts don’t earn excessively more than smaller depositors. For the full details you can check our docs.
