We are excited to launch two new #Save2Save pools in collaboration with Spirals. Earn money while supporting the ReFi ecosystem and offsetting carbon, it’s a win-win!
Save2Save for Toucan & ReFi DAO
Polygon is the home of our two new savings pools. One which redirects part of the rewards to ReFi DAO, and a second one that redirects to Toucan Protocol. Both pools will split 50/50 the pool’s rewards (incentives + yield generated on Aave v3) between the winners and their associated ReFi project.
Half of the generated rewards from the ReFi DAO pool will go to continuous climate action for ReFi DAO, harnessing Spirals’ green staking. Half of the rewards from the Toucan pool will go to Toucan protocol, helping support their mission to create a regenerative economy. We will purchase and retire carbon tokens (NCTs) from nature-based carbon projects.
You can join the pools by saving a total of 100 DAI, over a 12 week period.
We will sponsor both pools with up to $6.90 worth of gDAI per participant, capped at a total of $10,000. That’s roughly a net APY of 15% for both yourself and your chosen ReFi project. Plus you’ll earn a massive 1,200 GG points for each pool you complete!
What is gDAI? This is the Green DAI token by Spirals protocol, which is backed 1:1 by the DAI stablecoin. After receiving the gDAI you can immediately convert it to DAI at https://app.spirals.so/. Or just leave it in there to fund high impact climate project.
That means each pool gets a sweet $5000 to split between its successful savers, and either ReFi DAO or Toucan Protocol!
But you’ll have to be quick: there are only 800 spots available in each pool. Both pools open today, Friday the 4th of October, at 2pm UTC. The earlier you join the pools, the more rewards you’ll earn. Also the more people that enter the pool, the more rewards you will earn. The pool will be joinable for the 14 following days, so make sure you spread the word.
